Secretary General Ahmed Bening Wiisichong addressed the 1st West Africa Youth Security Summit in Abuja taking place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
This important summit was convened by the Pan African Youth Union (PYU) West Africa Regional office in partnership with the National Youth Council of Nigeria.
The Summit brought together youth leaders, National Youth Council Presidents from West Africa, CEO of National Youth Authority of Ghana and other equivalent structures to discuss crucial matters of security in the region.
The Executive Committee of the PYU, congratulates the government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the National Youth Council of Nigeria and the PYU team led by Dr. Oladele John Nihi for stepping up to the occasion. We further congratulate National Youth Council Presidents from West Africa for their commitment and dedication to the security and stability of the region.
Our assiduous dedication as an organization to the principles and values of African unity, resilience and stability remains resolute.
