The next Green Leaders Academy will run from March 1-April 30, 2023. It is part of a broader initiative led by 10 Billion Strong which aims to train 1 million green leaders in 36 key countries by 2030.
The program will be conducted online, in English, and is focused on preparing emerging youth leaders to understand key environmental issues, and learn how to use the civic engagement to effectively address environmental challenges.
Participants who successfully complete the program are eligible to apply for small-grants to support environmental impact projects in their communities.
In Partnership with the Pan-African Youth Union
This Green Leaders Academy is organized in partnership with the Pan-African Youth Union and is designed to serve youth leaders from the 55 Member States of the African Union aged 18-35.
10 Billion Strong alumni should not apply, since the course is the same as past Green Leaders Academies.
