As part of Secretary General’s Ahmed Bening Wiisichong working visit to the Republic of Namibia, met with Hon. Jennely Matundu, Deputy Minister for International Relations.
In the meeting was the PYU Vice President for Southern Africa and Executive Chairperson of the Namibian National Youth Council Ms Sharonice Busch and the Deputy Secretary-General for Southern Africa and Board Member of the Botswana National Youth Council, Mr. Christopher Christian Seagateng.
We discussed among other things matters of mutual importance to the government of Namibia and the Pan African Youth Union. We discussed the strategic role the government of Nambia continue to play in the sustainability and resilience of the Pan African Youth Union.
We also discussed the important role of the Republic of Namibia as Vice President and Regional Coordinator for Southern Africa to the Pan African Youth Union. We appreciate the government and people of the Republic of Namibia for their continued commitment to Youth work on the continent and especially the unyielding support to the Pan African Youth Union.
We shall continue to strive for the unity and integration of Africa.
